Mitchel Laskey

Managing Partner

Mitchel is a co-founder and general managing partner of DeepWork Capital. During his career he has led multiple companies to exit as a founder, CEO, chairman, or active member of the board. Currently, Mitchel serves as an active member or observer of the boards of Cogent Bancshares, Xendoo, UrbanSDK, RepScrubs, HypGames, Intecrowd, and TAO Connect. Prior, he was, most notably: Co-founder and CEO of Dynamic Healthcare Technologies (NASDAQ: DHTI) (merged with Cerner (NASDAQ: CERN), Executive Vice President of Dynamic Control Corporation exited to Baxter Travenol (NASDAQ: BAX), Co-founder and a member of the Board of Directors of CNL Bank (merged with Valley National (NYSE: VLY)); Chairman of the Board of IZEA (OTC: IZEA). He has held other senior executive management and leadership positions for public and private companies (including 4 positions of CEO), developing technology companies in healthcare, electronic manufacturing, physical security, transportation, and commercial banking industries.

Mitchel has testified before Congress regarding Homeland Security issues. He was awarded USF College of Business Administration’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” and holds a BA degree in both accounting and marketing from the University of South Florida. Mitchel is a licensed (currently inactive) CPA in Florida. 

When not working, you can find him engaged in Peloton competitions, pickleball, golfing, skiing, or spending time with his 4 grandchildren, playing with his English Cream “Champ”, and enjoying his family.
